The original JoJo’s Shave Ice was opened in Waimea in 1992, the year that Hurricane Iniki landed on the island. That store is still there to this day and we still proudly show the Original JoJo’s sign. Look for it right on the main road in Waimea. The JoJo’s goal is unchanged: to offer the ultimate shave ice on Kauai! When we expanded to Hanalei and Coconut Marketplace, we took the JoJo’s traditions and secret recipes along with us! Each shop features the same JoJo’s menu so you can get all of our delicious combos on every corner of the island!
JoJo’s gives all of its profits to fund free camps for Hawaiian youth who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience such a camp. This camp enables children with few opportunities to have a free holiday in a tropical environment and to experience God’s love and the love of others.
